It's been two years, and let me tell you, Moctezuma ain't playin'. But to be fair, my case was a little extreme ... Like 5 moves and a new career extreme. And that's not even the half of it. Β·#Vibing
Just Say Yes
For example, if your gynecologist says "hey, I think you should really meet my son", then you definitely do that. I mean, you have nothing to lose, right? Fuck it. Blog about the disaster later. It's what the people want. Plus, what's a life without a few train wrecks.
Everything is Better With Tacos
I'm adding this because this is literally what I told my now ex-boyfriend after we broke up. That and "no taksies backsies". Words to live by.
But looking back, I know that wouldn't be my gut reaction if I had stayed in Ohio. No time for cryin' baby. We got danger to avoid and a life to live. And yes, it tastes better with tacos.
Style
Jesus, have fun with your looks. Play a little. Living in Ohio made me forget how fun it can be. Mostly because being stared at by old white guys at Whole Foods is a little... uncomfortable? So yes, dressing up, low-key became a priority, but also my attempt at social acceptance. That is until I spent two years in the big city and came to the conclusion that I don't care. I'm a pretentious snob and that's okay. Bite me.
Being Late is Okay
I used to live by "early is on time - on time is late - and late is unacceptable". Ugh boo. As if we don't have enough to worry about. Let's just celebrate being alive?? But definitely text me, otherwise I will think something happened to you. Like maybe you got hit by a vibrator truck? Who knows. It happens.
I would never make that up. CDMX, never change.
As always keep thriving and keep spreading the chaos.
XO,
